Team of Experts

Kathy  is in theory “head dog,” but the reality is she takes her marching orders from the much more  mentally fit Border Collies.  When there is ruffled  feathers, she is the feather unruffler.   

After Dotty, she is lead dog.  

Ken is water boy and sidelines as our rescue transport.    

When Ken is in the mix, it’s a free for all.  Every rescue knows unequivocally that they make the rules when Ken is present.   Angel outwits him; Sniper dances backwards around him;  Dotty pushes him off the bed and couch; and Heidi thinks Ken hangs the moon.   

A/K/A The animal whisperer. She helps manage the day to day operations and manages the Rescue and Pet Resort when Kathy and Ken are saving and transporting rescues to the Vet or to their new home.  

Serenity loves the many kisses, hugs and dirty paws.   Her heart is shaped like a paw.  On occasion you can see the pack scheming how to out think Serenity.
